Bal Olympiad begins in Patna
Bal Olympiad (Children Olympiad), organised by Kilkari Bal Bhavan, began at the Moinul Haq Stadium in Patna on December 23, 2012. Students drawn from different schools of Bihar have been participating in the meet. In all 38 districts have sent their athletes for the Games.

Patna Police nab 'psycho killer'
Patna Police arrested an alleged psycho killer Chandan Singh and two of his associates form his house at Begum Ki Haveli under Khajekalan police station in Patna on December 22, 2012. Police also recovered for automatic pistols, nine cartridges and seven cell phones and two motorcycles from their possessions.
The alleged criminal used to kill people to create panic. Senior Superintendent of Police Amrit Raj briefed the media about the incident.

26 toppers get gold medals
Bihar Governor Debanand Konwar gave away the gold medals and certificates to students in the Second convocation of Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic and Persian University in Patna on December 22, 2012. Twenty-six toppers of the university were awarded gold medals in the function.
