Stress laid on effective measures to enforce Control of Tobacco Products Act in Bihar

A high-level consultation on intensifying multi-sectoral effort for effective implementation of tobacco control measures in Bihar was held in Patna on November 28, 2012. Bihar Government's Chief Secretary AK Sinha  presided over the function. Addressing the meeting Sinha said regular inter-department coordination among different agencies and civil societies is needed to effectively enforce the Control of Tobacco Products Act in the state.
