Bihar Agriculture Postgraduate Association members decided to launch agitation starting with indefinite fast if the state government failed to amend the provisions of their dismissal after taking services for five years. In a press conference in Patna on July 30, 2014, they said the dismissal of post graduate agriculture assistant professor-cum-junior scientists was against the UGC guidelines.
