After 20 years of rivalry Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad and Janata Dal (United) leader and former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar shared the stage in a joint election meeting for the forthcoming byelections of Bihar Assembly seats at Subhaee Panchayat in Hajipur on August 11, 2014. The two top leaders launched their poll campaign together for JD(U) candidate Rajendra Rai under their Mahguttbandhan (grand alliance).
