One girl died while three other sustained burn injuries when they came in touch with live wire that fell on their Government Middle School gate in Mussalahpur Hatt under Pirbahore police station in Patna on September 10, 2014. The girl was identified as 8-year-old Shivani Kumari. Injured girls were admitted to the Patna Medical College and Hospital. A large number of local residents and parents gathered at the spot and staged strong protest over the negligence of school authorities.
