Bihar bans sale of tobacco products
Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi inaugurated a " World No Tobacco Day" function in Patna on November 7, 2014. School students took out a cancer awareness rally to mark the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Manjhi announced ban on sale of Pan Masala, Zarda, Gutkha, scented areca nut and flavoured tobacco.
