Homoeopathic medicines shop owners downed their shutters in protest against the raids conducted by the state drug controller in Patna on February 5, 2016. The state drug controller officials had lodged FIRs against 22 homoeopathic drugs manufacturing firms and arrested two persons on the charges of mixing higher percentage of alcohol in the medicines. The authorities also seized more than 250 samples of drugs from the shops located at Bari Path and Sabjibagh.
