Waqf conference held in Patna

Patna, July 2, 2022: Waqf conference was organised at Anjuman Islamia Hall here on Saturday. The conference was oragnised under the aegis Central Waqf Council and the Bihar State Sunni Waqf Board. Bihar education minister Vijay Kumar Chaoudhary inaugurated the conference.  Bihar minority welfare minister Mohammad Zaman Khan was the chief guest.

Sunni and Shia Waqf Board chairman Dr Shamim Munni was present on the occasion.

While speaking on the occasion, all the speakers stressed on the tahaffuz (protection) of the Waqf property. However, in his speech, education minister Choudhary adviced the minority community to think beyond tahaffuz of Waqf property. The minister and several other dignitaries were felicitated on the occasion.
