Strong wind at the speed of 60 kmph followed by heavy downpour on Wednesday (September 9, 2009) morning hit the normal life in Patna and adjoining districts disrupting the power supply for several hours. The gale forced the rail and road traffic movements to a stand still for long. Dozens of trees were uprooted and fell on road and railway tracks. Patna, however, witnessed 19 mm rain fall in the day.
