Central University of Bihar and Birla Institute of Technology, Patna, jointly organised a national seminar on "Application of biotechnology and the development of Bihar" in Patna on March 22, 2010.Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion Modi said Bihar government would take help of experts and technical institutions to formulate a biotechnology policy for the state.
