Former President of India Dr APJ Abdul Kalam addressed the centenary year celebration lecture of Bihar Legislative Council in Patna on May 3, 2011. Bihar Bihar Legislative Council Chairman Tara Kant Jha, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, all the ministers of Bihar Cabinet, MLAs and MLCs were present on the occasion.Addressing the function Dr Kalam put forward four action areas for the state to achieve the profile of Bihar 2020. They were smart waterways, introduction of metro services, fostering agriculture and promotion of spiritual, eco and medical tourism.
