Patna University students on the rampage
Patna University students went on the rampage at Ashok Rajpath in Patna on April 27, 2009 in protest against the murder of a student, who was shot at on April 24 under Pirbahore Police Station area. Student succumbed to his injuries on April 27. The death of the student sparked violence as angry students blocked road, ransacked examination halls, drove away examinees and damaged private and public properties.
