Jeevika claims third position
The tableau brought out by Jeevika on the occasion of the 64th Republic Day function at Gandhi Maidan in Patna on January 26, 2013 got the third position among the 10 tableaux presented by different government department. Jeevika shared the third prize with State Health Society Bihar, who took out State Health Mission float.

Bihar Governor unfurls the Tricolour at Gandhi Maidan
Bihar Governor Debananda Konwar hoisted the Tricolour on the occasion of the 64th Republic Day function at Gandhi Maidan in Patna on January 26, 2013. Governor Konwar took salute of the march past and guard of honour. He also witnessed the parade. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was present on the occasion.

Patna Police nab three, recover Rs 8.5 lakh stolen amount
Patna Police arrested three persons in connection with a robbery at the residence of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLC late Badshah Prasad in Patna on January 25, 2013. City Superintendent of Police Jayant Kant said police had also recovered stolen amount (Rs 8.5 lakh) from the possessions of arrested persons.
