Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar released Planning Atlas 2010 of Bihar in Patna on July 31, 2010. Bihar's Deputy Chief Mnister Sushil Kumar Modi was present on the occasion. The atlas is published by Planning and Development Department, Government of Bihar.The atlas reveals some interesting facts about Bihar. It says districts on the south of the river Ganga are the most urbanised in Bihar.
It states Bihar holds second position in India after Punjab in providing safe drinking water to its people. 96.10 per cent households in Bihar get safe drinking water.
