Peepli Live fame Omkar Das Manikpuri joins Greenpeace

Omkar Das Manikpuri , who played the role of Nattha in “Peepli Live” spearheaded the Urja Karnti Yatra that began from Bhitiharwa Ashram in West Champaran on the 141^st birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 2, 2010. Greenpeace in association with Bihar Renewable Energy Development Support launched the awareness campaign to mobilise rural Bihar on sustainable energy. Manikpuri disclosed this at a press conference in Patna on October 3, 2010.
