Modest turn out in 7th phase of Bihar Panchayat polls

About 62.8 per cent turn out was recorded in the seventh phase of the ongoing panchayat polls in Bihar that passed off peacefully by and large on May 9, 2011. State Election Commission said Kishanganj, Katihar districts registered the highest turn out of the voters at 75 per cent and Nawada district had the lowest vote percentage at 54.
