Five Bihar teachers felicitated on Teacher's Day

Human Resources Department organized a function on the occasion of the Teacher’s Day to commemorate the birthday of former President of India Dr Sarvapalli Radhakhrishnan at SK Memorial Hall in Patna on September 5, 2011. On the occasion, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar felicitated five teachers and three district education officers for their distinguished contributions.

Addressing the function, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said the State Government was considering a pension scheme for fixed-pay teachers, who have been appointed on contract basis.
