Dozen of vehicles destroyed in Kotwali Police Station fire



Patna: About a dozen of seized vehicles parked in the premises of Kotwali Police Station were destroyed in a fire that broke out, said to be from short circuit, here on Thursday evening.

The Police quickly swung into action pulling the other vehicles out of the danger zone. Fire tenders were called to douse the leaping flame. Thee fire tenders, which were put into service, took more than 30 minutes to tame the blaze.

The fire created panic as police restricted the traffic movement from Dak Bungalow to Income Tax crossing for more than one hour.
