Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar unveiled the life-size statue of Swami Shahjanand Saraswati in Patna on February 12, 2010. Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi and other ministers were present on the occasion. Several other functions were also organized to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Shahjanand Saraswati. At NCP office national general secretary of the party Tariq Anwar paid floral tributes to peasent leader while at SK Memorial Hall, Patna MP and BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha participated in the function.
