Devotees thronged Baikatpur Shiva Temple on the  occassion of first Somwari (first Monday) of Sawan (Sharvan) near Patna on August 3, 2026. Baikatpur Temple, also known as Baikatpur Dham or Gaurishankar Baikunth Dham, is an ancient 16th-century Shiva temple located in the Patna district of Bihar, right on the banks of the holy Ganga River.
