Bhojpuri film star Manoj Tiwari was ar Magadh Mahila College in Patna on February 6, 2014 to promote his team Bhojpuri Dabang in the ongoing Celebrity Cricket League. He also took part in an Antakshari programme.

Manoj Tiwari to return Bhojpuri Academy Award

Bhojpuri film star and singer Manoj Tiwari said he would return the Bhojpuri Academy Award given to him by the Bihar Governor at International Bhojpuri conference earlier in protest against appointment of folk singer Malini Awasthi as brand ambassador of Bhojpuri Academy. Tiwari was speaking to media in Patna on August 16, 2013.
