Bihar Governor Debanand Konwar visits flood relief camps at Gopalganj





Bihar Governor Debanand Konwar took an aerial survey of the Gandak flood-hit areas of Saran division on September 24, 2010. Konwar also visited the flood relief camps at Gopalganj.

'Gandak flood situation is under control'

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that Gandak flood situation was under control and it was not similar to Kosi flood. Nitish Kumar was talking to reporters in Patna on September 20, 2010 after taking aerial survey of the flood-affected areas.

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar asks officials to expedite relief measures in Gandak flood zone

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar held a meeting with senior officers in view of the Gandak embankment breach and threat of flood in Saran and Gopalganj districts of the state in Patna on September 19, 2010. Kumar asked the concerned departments to expedite relief works and set up mega relief camps.
