GST plays big role in development of Bihar, says Tarkishore Prasad




Patna, July 1, 2022: Bihar deputy chief minister Tarkishore Prasad said that GST played a big role in the development of the state. Last year Bihar collected Rs 36000 crore GST revenue. The minister was speaking at a function that was organsied to celebrate GST Day.

The GST Day is celebrated across the country on July 1. Prasad said that GST was implemented across the country on July 1, 2017to bring uniformity in the tax system. He also held meeting with commercial tax department officials and office-bearers of different traders organisations.

The Bihar deputy chief minister also flagged off GST vehicles which will travel across the state to keep a close eye on GST collection.

World Day Against Child Labour observed




 A programme was oragnised to mark the World Day Against Child Labour at Gyan Bhavan Hall in Patna on June 12, 2022. Bihar deputy chief minister Tarkishore Prasad, who was the chief guest, inaugurated the function. Bihar labour resources minister Jibesh Kumar presided over the function. The ptheme of this year in 'Universal social protection to end child labour'.
