Power Grid Corporation of India has decided to extend financial help under its corporate social responsibility programme to Sri Sai Lions Netralaya for conducting free eye and ear check up camp in different parts of Bihar. This was disclosed at a joint press conference of the Power Grid Corporation of India and Sri Sai Lions Netralaya in Patna on October 12, 2011.
Kaushal Kishore Agrawal, Executive Director Eastern Region I of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, handed over a cheque of Rs 25 lakh to Ram Krishna Mission, Muzaffarpur under its Corporate Social Responsibility scheme in Patna on October 1, 2010. The money will utilised for purchasing equipments for a eye hospital and diagnostic centre.
