Litchi sellers and buyers conference was organised at Bihar Veterinary College hall in Patna on February 10, 2012. The conference was organised as a part of the year-long "Litchi Mahotsav".

Bihar Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh inaugurates Litchi Mahotsav

Bihar Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh inaugurated Litchi Mahotsav (festival) in Patna on December 28, 2011. The festival will run one year. The state government had recently launched schemes to improve litchi quality, productivity and marketing in Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, East Champaran, West Champaran, Samastipur  and Sitamarhi districts.
