TET aspirants can rectify form's mistakes from May 5 to 8 online



Patna: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has given four days time from May 5 to 8 to the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) aspirants to rectify their mistakes in the registration forms they filled up and submitted through online.

A notification issued by the BSEB stated that the line would remain open from May 5 to 8 to rectify the mistakes.

The candidates, who had remitted their fees through online to BSEB, can correct the mistakes in their forms, the BSEB release stated.

The BESB stated that mistakes in selection of paper, name, father and mother's names, gender, caste category, date of birth, differently abled, domicile, religion, medium of paper, language 1, language 2, optional subjects for paper 2, Aadhar number, correspondence address, contact number, email ID, educational qualification, teacher training qualification, photo signature, final year appearing certificate and marks percentage could be corrected.

TET will be held in different centres across the state on June 11.

235017 candidates fill up TET forms so far



Patna, April 29, 2017: On the eve of the last day of submitting Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) forms, as many as 235017 candidates have got them registered online in the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) portal till Saturday.

A total of 37615 candidates registered them in paper 1 ( for class 1 to 5) while 1,81, 236 candidates did their registration in paper 2 (for class 6 to 8).

A total of 16, 166 candidates got them registered in both the papers. 

It may be noted here that the last date of online registration and getting e challan for TET is April 30 while the last date for fee submission through e challan at SBI branch is May 3.

Candidates can rectify the mistakes in their forms if any by May 4.

Meanwhile, All India Students Association (AISA) staged demonstration demanding inclusion of 2016-2018 batch Bed students in the TET on Saturday.

AISA to stage demonstration on April 28


Patna All India Students Association (AISA) has decided to stage demonstration in the state capital on April 28 demanding inclusion of 2016-18 BEd students in the Teachers' Eligibility Test (TET-2017).

The decision was taken in a students meeting of 12 Colleges here on Wednesday.

The TET conducted by Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will be held in different centres across the state on June 11.

Now, commerce graduates too can apply for TET






Patna, April 21, 2017: Now, the commerce graduate with bachelor of education or any other equivalent degree can appear in teachers eligibility test (TET). Even the BCom-BEd candidates are eligible for TET.

The education department has sent a directive to Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) to modify their eligibility criteria. The BSEB is holding the TET which is scheduled for June 11.

Meanwhile, 17 BEd college students under the banner of All India Students Association took out a rally and staged strong demonstration demanding inclusion of 2016-18 batch students in the forthcoming TET.

The police, however, stopped the protesters from going ahead near JP round about.

Later, a delegation of the students met the education department director and put forward their claims for TET.

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad(ABVP) activists also took out a procession from BN College to Kargil Chowk demanding inclusion of commerce graduate in the TET.
