Rahul Gandhi Campaigns in Bihar, Criticizes PM Modi and BJP at Khusrupur Rally














 Patna: Former All India Congress Committee President Rahul Gandhi visited Bihar for a one-day trip. During his visit, Rahul Gandhi campaigned for Anshul Avijit, the Congress candidate for Patna Sahib. He addressed an election rally in Khusrupur, on May 27, 2024 where he criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP. In his speech, Rahul Gandhi claimed that Narendra Modi has threatened to imprison Tejashwi Yadav. Following this statement, he launched a vigorous attack on both the BJP and the Prime Minister.

Calling upon the people to vote for Congress candidates in Bihar Assembly election, Rahul slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi accusing him of provoking communal conflicts as he failed to deliver the promises he made during Lok Sabha polls.

Rahul Gandhi meets Forbesganj firing victims





All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary Rahul Gandhi visited Bhajanpur village (Forbesganj) in Araria district of Bihar on July 1, 2011 to know the circumstances leading to the police firing that killed four people on June 3, 2011.
Rahul Gandhi landed at the IAF airbase in Purnia and headed for Bhajanpur village straight. The Congress leader met the villagers affected by police firing. "I will see to it that justice is done. You will get relief", he said the wailing villagers.

Rahul Gandhi visits Saharsa




All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary Rahul Gandhi was in Bihar on September 4, 2010. Rahul visited Saharsa and Samstipur addressed public rallies.

Addressing the meeting Rahul Gandhi criticized the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government in Bihar for its failure to utilize Central Government’s funds for the development of the state.

Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee president Mahboob Ali Kaiser and other Bihar Congress leaders were present in the meeting.

Rahul Gandhi's 'Pathshala' at Patna Women's College


On the second of his Bihar visit, All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary Rahul Gandhi had an inter-active session with Patna Women's College Students in Patna on February 2, 2010. Rahul also addressed press conference at Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPPC) headquarters at Sadaquat Ashram.
At Patna Women's College Rahul asked the students not to address him as 'sir' but by his name. The free-flowing discussions touched on topics that varied from education, economics and politics to brain drain.
Patna Women's College Principal Sister Doris D' Souza also felicitated Rahul Gandhi on the occasion.
Later at a press confernec Rahul Gandhi asserted that India is for all Indians and people have a right to go anywhere.
"I am really not interested in what Bal Thackeray or Raj Thackeray have to say. Frankly, I am interested in one concept that India belongs to Indians and every part of India belongs to every Indian", he said.
"People have a right to go anywhere. I am not going to remain silent and stop people of UP and Bihar from going to Maharashtra," he added.

Rahul Gandhi takes Bihar by storm



All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary Rahul Gandhi made a two-day whirl-wind tour of Bihar on February 2 and February 3, 2010. On February 2, Rahul Gandhi reached Patna and visited Sadaquat Ashram, the head-quarters of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee.
Later he toured Bettiah and Darbhanga.
