People from different walks of life participated in a rally that was organised to make people aware of the silent killer diabetes in Patna on November 14, 2011. The day was observed world-wide as World Diabetes Day. The slogan of the march was "Act on Diabetes, Now".

Stage set to observe World Diabetes Day

Lions Club Patna in association with Bihar State Health Society will observe World Diabetes Day at New Gardener Road Hospital in Patna on November 14. This was disclosed by Sanjay Kumar, executive director, Bihar State Health Society at a press conference in Patna on November 11, 2011. This year, the theme of the World Diabetes Day is "Act on Diabetes, Now".
