Special Rabi Campaign vehicles flagged off

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar flagged off 38 Rabi crops development vehicles (Rabi Vikas Rath") from Patna on October 15, 2012. The Agriculture Department launched the "Special Rabi Campaign 2012-13" to create awareness among farmers on the benefits of SRI-System. The Chief Minister also released a book "Strength of line sowing" on the occasion. Bihar Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh, Revenue Minister Ramai Ram and Education Minister PK Shahi were present on the occasion.

Rabi Mahotsav vans flagged off

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi jointly flagged off Rabi Mahotsav Rath, a caravan of 38 trucks under the second phase of Rabi Mahotsav (November 7 to 18) to provide seeds and other inputs to farmers in 38 districts of the state, in Patna on November 6, 2011. Bihar Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh, Industry Minister Renu Kushwaha and Revenue and Land Reform Minister Ramai Ram were present on the occasion.
