Mahavir Cancer Sansthan (MCS) signs MoU with Dutch Institute of Gynaecology Oncology and Pelvic Surgery

Mahavir Cancer Sansthan (MCS) signed an MoU with Dutch Institute of Gynaecology Oncology and Pelvic Surgery (DSGOPS) in Patna on November 11, 2011. MCS director Dr JK Singh and DSGOPS director Professor APM Heintz were present on the occasion. Under the agreement DSGOPS experts will come to Patna to rain MCS doctors and nurses on the particular subject.

Nitish Kumar to inaugurate high-energy linear accelerator at Mahavi Cancer Sansthan

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will inaugurate the facility of high-energy linear accelerator machine at Mahavi Cancer Sansthan in Patna on January 28. This was disclosed by the institute officials at a press conference in Patna on January 25, 2011. Director of the institute Dr Jitendra Kumar Singh said the machine could treat complex areas of the body with great accuracy. It was imported from UK at a cost of Rs 9 crore.
