Bihar CM Nitish Kumar inaugurates Rajvanshi Nagar Park

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated Navin Kumar Sinha memorial park at Rajvanshi Nagar in Patna on May 11, 2011. Addressing the function Kumar warned people against defacing public parks or infringement and said those found guilty would be punished as per law. He said a provision would be made to punish those people found guilty of the two charges.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, Health Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Road Construction Minister Nand Kishore Yadav and other ministers were present in the function.

Eco Park inaugurated in Patna

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated an Eco Park located at Secretariat premises in Patna on March 23, 2010. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi was present on the occasion. The park spreading over 5-hectare area has a lake, 1445-m pathways, a children's corner and 1191-m long jogging track and a green lawn.

Patna will be 'City of Parks' in coming years: Modi

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi inaugurated the beautification project of Shivaji Park in Kankarbagh in Patna on November 25, 2009. Local MLA Arun Kumar Sinha was also present in the function.
Speaking on the occasion Modi said Bihar government would beautify all parks of Patna in next two years to make it the "City of Parks".
