Traders protest fuel surcharge in electric bill

Bihar Chamber of Commerce and Bihar Industries Association threatened to close down all units if the Bihar government failed to withdraw the fuel surcharge within a week.

Addressing a press conference in Patna on September 5, 2010, office-bearers of the two associations said the imposition of fuel surcharge at the rate of 69 paise per unit in electric bill was not justified.
