Bihar Government engineers to intensify their stir

Bihar Abhiyantran Seva Sangh (Bihar Engineering Services Association) has decided to intensify their stir by starting indefinite fast. Engineers in Bihar Government services were on strike for the last one month in support of their long-pending demands.

Bihar Government engineers to intensify agitation

Bihar Government engineers burnt the copies of Government orders in Patna on September 30, 2011. Protesting the Government orders, members of the Bihar Engineering Services Association and Engineering Service Co-ordination Committee alleged that the order had reduced them to the level of bonded labours. They said they would intensify their agitation after Chhath festival for pay parity with Central Government engineers.

BESA to go on war path

Bihar Engineering Services Association (BESA) decided to go on war path in protest against the state government's apathetic attitude in fulfilling their long-pending demands that include "out side interference in work" and implementation of Central pay scales. This was disclosed by the office-bearers of the BESA at a Press conference in Patna on June 29, 2011.
