Bihar Government opened an school in a seized house of a 'corrupt government official' Girish Kumar at Kadamkuan Park Road locality in Patna on December 23, 2011. Bihar Government's Backward Class and Most Backward Class Welfare Department launched a ten plus two level girls' school. The property of government official Girisk Kumar was attached under disproportionate asset case and on the charges of corruption.

Bihar Government to create CVO in all departemnts

Bihar Vigilance Department's principal secretary AK Chavan said the State Government had evolved an action plan to weed out corruption with plans to create posts of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) in all the departments.
