Seminar marks Earth Day in Patna

Patna, April 22, 2017: A seminar was organised at Sri Krsihna Science Centre here to celebrate Earth Day on Saturday. Protection of environment was the focal point of discussion. Students drawn from different schools participated in it.

Earth Day celebrated in Patna

Patna, April 22, 2017: Poster campaigns, seminars and plantation of saplings marked the Earth Day here on Saturday, The day is celebrated worldwide across 195 countries with a mission to protect environment and save earth from man made disaster.

AN College students showed the march of science with a caution stressing on the need to build a global citizenry fluent in the concepts of climate change and aware of its unprecedented threat to our planet while students at Kargil Chowk distributed saplings to people for protection of environment.

At Government Girls School, Bankipore, a seminar was organised on how to save earth through environment and climate literacy.

The concept was to empower everyone with knowledge to act in defense of environmental protection.

Bihar Earth Day celebrated
