Bashishtha Narayan Singh is JD(U) Bihar president

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar congratulated former MP Bashishtha Narayan Singh for his appointment as Janata Dal (United) state unit president.

Singh assumed charge of the office in presence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Patna on November 30, 2010.

Speaking on the occasion, Bashishtha Narayan Singh said he would strive for further strengthening the organistion from Panchayat to all levels.
