67 Opposition MLAs marshalled out of Bihar Assembly






67 Opposition MLAs in Bihar were suspended for unruly behaviour and marshalled out of Bihar Assembly and Council as complete pandemonium prevailed inside and outside the Assembly in Patna on July 21, 2010. A slipper was flung at the Speaker and a woman member threw several flower pots around.
42 Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLAs were suspended by Assembly Speaker Uday Narayan Choudhary for the rest of the Monsoon session with both the Assembly and the Legislative council witnessing turmoil for the second straight day.

AISA stages protest demonstration against supension of Opposition MLAs


AISA activists staged demonstration and blocked road at Kankarbagh in Patna on July 21, 2010 in protest against the suspension and marshalling out of 67 Opposition MLAs from Bihar Assembly and Legislative Council. MLAs were demanding imediate resignation of Bihar Chief Minister and a CBI probe into the alleged multi-crore central fund scam.

Rashi Jain wins Tanishq Dulhan Contest

The third and final round of Tanishq Dulhan Contest was organised in Patna on July 20, 2010. The conest was organised in tire II cities across the country. The winners of each round will be on the billboards in their respective cities displaying their bridal dresses and ornaments.
Rashi Jain of Patna was declared winner of the third round.
