Homeopathy Bachao Morcha (Save Homeopathy Front) organised its convention to discuss prohibition law effect on homeopathy doctors at Bharatiya Nritya Kala Mandir in Patna on September 19, 2016. Speaking on the occasion Dr Brijnandan Prasad said doctors were being harassed across the state under the name of total liquor prohibition. "The government is yet to clear its policy on the content of medicines in a packed bottle. Should the doctors keep 30ml bottles or 100ml bottles in their shops", he said.
"Following the new act, homeopathy medicines sold earlier at Rs 10, now being sold at 30 to Rs 50 and are going out of the reach of common people," he remarked.
At present there are 25,000 registered homeopathic doctors in Bihar.
