Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar flagged off 38 Rabi crops development vehicles (Rabi Vikas Rath") from Patna on October 15, 2012. The Agriculture Department launched the "Special Rabi Campaign 2012-13" to create awareness among farmers on the benefits of SRI-System. The Chief Minister also released a book "Strength of line sowing" on the occasion. Bihar Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh, Revenue Minister Ramai Ram and Education Minister PK Shahi were present on the occasion.
