Several functions were organised to pay tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary in Patna on January 30, 2010. Social workers and leaders of different political parties inculding Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar paid homage to Father of the Nation. At Gandhi Museum, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated sculpture of Mahatma Gandhi and a hall named as "Nav Bihar Ke Nirmata".
