Bihar Chief Minister (left) and his cabinet colleagues go to attend Bihar Government's Cabinet meeting in Patna on February 17, 2010.The Cabinet meeting decided to enhance the compensation amount of Rs 50,000 to Rs One lakh to the victims of terrorism, communalsim, caste riots and those killed during electioneering.
Earlier the state government used to pay a compensation of Rs 50,000 under the above mentioned heads but the compensation amount had been been increased upto Rs one lakh from today.
