Bihar Cricket Association is an associate member of the Board of Control for Cricket in India

Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) ad-hoc committee chairman and Leader of the Opposition in Bihar Assembly Abdul Bari Siddiqui criticised Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his reported statement that Bihar does not have a recognised cricket body. In a press conference in Patna on April 6, 2011, Siddiqui said BCA is an associate member of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) since 2008 and is the sole governing body for cricket in Bihar.
