Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the 28th foundation day function of the Bihar State Milk Cooperative Federation (COMFED) at SK Memorial Hall in Patna on April 19, 2011. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, Animal and Fishery Resources Minister Giriraj Singh, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh, Road Construction Minister Nand Kishore Yadav, Industry Minister Renu Kumari and Food and Consumer Protection Minister Shyam Rajak were present on the occasion. He also announced government subsidy of Rs 2 per kilogram on Sudha feed. The Chief Minister gave away cheques to cooperative societies on the occasion.
