Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar holds an all-party meeting

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar held an all-party meeting to find a solution to hostage crisis in Patna on September 4, 2010. Three Bihar policemen were abducted by Maoists in Lakhisarai district on August 29.

Under intense pressure to end the crisis in the poll-bound state, the Chief Minister offered Maoists safe passage for talks for the release of the hostages.
