Bihar Congress gears up for 2014 Lok Sabha polls

Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee president Mahboob Ali Kaiser says Congress is gearing up to perform better in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls in Bihar. Kaiser was talking to reporters in Patna on January 9, 2011. “We are taking a fresh guard and by the grace of God we will do well in Lok Sabha elections,” he said.

“The party has constituted a 14-member monitoring committee headed by Vijay Shankar Mishra to monitor the centrally sponsored schemes and educate people about its benefits," he said.

He said a seven-member disciplinary committee headed by MLC Chandan Bagchi had been constituted to deal with the rebels in future.
