Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reached his native village Kalyan Bigha on January 16, 2011 . He first garlanded the statue of his father late Kaviraj Ramlakhan Singh. Chief Minister's elder brother Satish Kumar installed the "Asthi Kalas" (urn) of his mother late Parmeshwari Devi, who died on January 1, 2011, in the Ramlakhan Singh Vatika.
