Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar welcomes Vice-President of India M Hamid Ansari
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar welcomed Vice-President of India M Hamid Ansari upon his arrival at Jaya Prakash Narayan international airport in Patna on July 12, 2011.
S N Sinha was an eminent intelluctual personality who was ahead of his time! He donned several hats and left an indelible mark in every role or responsibility he headed! He brought key reforms in administrative sector and modernised education structure in Bihar(though much of his epoch making policies were reverted by the subsequent government who 'politicised' education for their vested interests and ruined the education infrastructure!)While several institutions have been named after people who have hardly contributed towards education;The state government is yet to implement the popular decision of naming MAGADH UNIVERSITY as SN SINHA MAGADH UNIVERSITY.It will be a fitting tribute not to a great statesman of Bihar whose policies are being followed by union HRD ministry!
