Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi was the chief guest in the Pro Kabaddi League Patna Leg opening match between Patna Pirates and Puneri Paltan at the Patliputra Sports Complex hall in Patna on August 7, 2014. Manjhi enjoyed the grappling among the players of the two teams to the full stretch of 40 minutes. He also gave away best player of the match award to Patna captain Rakesh Kumar. Patna beat Pune 35-27.
