Bukhari launches third front in Bihar





Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid Syed Ahmed Bukhari announced to launch Bihar United Democratic Front to "take on effectively" NDA, RJD-LJP combine and Congress in forthcoming assembly election in the state. The party was launched at a function in Patna on August 9, 2010.
"We have launched a third front -- Bihar United Democratic Front -- which will effectively take on NDA, RJD-LJP combine and Congress," Bukhari said.
He said Bihar strongman and MLA Dadan Singh Pahalwan and Muslim United Front chief Abdul Quaiser had been roped in to lead the front.
Bukhari said he would intensively campaign for consolidation of Muslim and Yadava votes in favour of the alternative.
