Bihar Health Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey held a review meeting on the alarming increase in the dengue fever cases in the state in Patna on October 30, 2012. A high-power committee consisting of the officials of the Health, PHED and Urban Development Departments had been set up for the measures to be taken to prevent the spread of the disease. Till now, seven districts of Bihar are in the grip of dengue fever.
